Our V Top Strap adds additional stability when you’re carrying heavier items on the top of your backpack. It is a little bit more secure than the standard, single top strap.

It can be used to carry a bear canister so long as the canister can squish into your gear as shown. Alternatively, a canister can also be carried standing vertically inside the pack.

The V Top Strap is modular and can be added or removed from your pack as necessary. Our normal, single top strap is also included when you add this option.

This seam tape is made with adhesive stuck to thin Dyneema® Composite Fabric as the backing material. It has a brown paper layer that peels away leaving clear adhesive stuck to a Dyneema® Composite Fabric strip. Just peel off the paper and press it smooth. No heat required.

The adhesive sticks excellently to any of our Dyneema® Composite Fabric products such as shelters, stuff sacks, or dry bags. It will also work on the inside of Ultra fabric, and other smooth laminate materials. It will not stick to any silicone coated fabrics, and won't work on well on rough surfaces like the exterior of backpacks.

I wanted a food bag that was more flexible than a rigid bear canister that I could hang confidently and that would hold up to the elements. Hangs well, stores in backpack well, holds up well in weather and is just plain wonderful.

Increased surface area make these Carbon Fiber Stakes a great choice for a variety of terrain. Made with a Carbon Fiber shaft with a metal tip and metal end cap, these stakes have the best holding power to weight ratio of any of the stakes we carry. These stakes have a blue cord through the end to make them easy to see and easy to pull out of the ground.

The thick diameter allows them to grip the ground better than thin titanium. These are excellent in loose soil, and they have also proven to be very functional in typical dirt. On packed ground or on bedrock lay them sideways and anchor with rocks.

These are the only stakes that can reliably be carried through airport security. We have carried these stakes through US airport security a dozen times with no issues. Our experience with metal stakes is they are confiscated about half the time. Please report if you have any trouble with these.

These Y-Beam stakes are the largest and strongest that we have. The 7-inch length and large diameter give them excellent holding power.

These are difficult to bend. They are strong enough to withstand being hammered or pounded with a rock, however the top end may get chewed up so we would still recommend avoiding hammering. If the ground is too firm, turn them sideways and anchor them with a rock.

These are bright blue, which makes them hard to lose.  They have a cord on the end to make it easy to pull them out of the ground.

These Sonic Stakes have a "Y-Beam" shape which gives them great holding power in a small package. The three-sided design also gives them good bend resistance for an ultralight stake. The price of aluminum beats titanium or carbon.

Never hammer ultralight stakes. While the bend resistance feels very solid, these are able to bend if you put your full weight on them. They can also be bent back reasonably well.

Great item to add to your repair/ditty bag/possibles kit. In a pinch the needle can be converted to a fishing hook. It could also be used for an emergency suture if you don’t have butterfly bandages or superglue to seal a laceration.

When the terrain levels out or you’re strolling into a trail town, trekking pole holsters are a great way to stow your trekking poles out of the way. Tyvek "Home Wrap" is an ideal material for ground sheets. It is waterproof, and very abrasion and puncture resistant. Tyvek is stiff, and foldable like thick paper. It will not bunch up or slide around under you like other fabrics.

Fold up the edges and tape the corners to make yourself a bathtub floor for your tarp. Cut it to size using regular scissors to make a tent footprint. It does not fray and you do not need to hem or tape the edges.

This material is white on one side, with a blue and red Tyvek logo printed on the other side.

If you're looking for a lighter and thinner option, consider our 5'x8' Nylo Pro Groundsheet. For an ultralight option with added durability, our Flat Groundsheets made from Dyneema® Composite Fabric are an excellent choice.

These are absolutely the warmest socks. I take them backpacking to put on when I get into camp and they keep my feet toasty.

They have a little more grip and are less susceptible to bending. These stakes are easier to press into packed or frozen ground compared to larger stakes. Since these are ultralight stakes, It is better to press them into the ground rather than hammering. Use rocks to anchor them in high wind.

They have a red head, which makes them harder to lose.

Our Arc backpacks feature a removable and interchangeable belt. This is a useful feature if you lose or gain weight, or if the pack is transferred to a different size person. If the belt wears out before the rest of the pack you could replace it.

A 10.5" horizontal belt stay is required to attach a belt to one of our framed packs.  The stay is NOT included with the belt, but they can be found for purchase here.

Held 5 days of food easily. Could hold a lot more. Compacts down to size you are carrying. Love the ease of the roll top snap closure. Is so lightweight and sturdy. A simple luxury to make things flow best on trail.

Our food bags are made from thicker 1.6 oz/sqyd Dyneema®​ Composite Fabric to stand up to the abuse of bear bagging and to resist abrasion from heavy, pointy food items. The fabric is strong enough to discourage most small rodents but should still be hung out of reach over night.The “Large” size food sack can hold about 5-6 days of food.

The rectangular shape fits well in all of our backpacks, either standing vertically or sideways depending on the pack volume. The wide opening makes it easier to dig through the bag and find what you need.

Stakes worked well in a lot of different ground types. Rocky or sandy or bushes always seemed to find a way to set up my tent and they held all night. Very strong too. Haven’t bent any even though I did hit a few rocks.

These ultralight titanium stakes have reasonable holding power and durability for their size. Titanium is very light and strong for its weight, but some care should be exercised to prevent bending. Thin stakes like these are easier to press into firm soil compared to thicker stakes. They are great for low intensity applications like pinning down a groundsheet, or in combination with some thicker higher holding power stakes like Zpacks Carbon Fiber Stakes. You will want to use rocks to weigh them down in loose soil or in windy conditions.

They have an orange head, which makes them harder to lose.

Need a lift? These fabric cups make it easy to prop up the head or foot of your shelter for more space. You can use a trekking pole with the handle up (out of the mud), or a tent pole, or a stick. The cup catches your pole handle, or tent pole tip securely and without any hassle.

32" (81 cm) Tent Poles are just the right length to prop the head or foot of our tents. Or use a 48" (122 cm) pole at the head or foot of a flat tarp.

One end of the pole cup has a loop that you can attach to any tie out with a lark's head knot. The other end has a Lineloc V sewn on so that you can adjust your guy line.

These interchangeable, detachable shoulder straps can be attached to all Zpacks backpacks made in late 2024 or later. Just make sure your old straps have clips at the top if retrofitting an existing pack.

These straps include a sternum strap, a pair of tiny oval carabiners to attach them, and a pair of 20" (51 cm) x 1/2" webbing that connects the bottom of the straps to your backpack. Load lifter webbing is also included, and is detachable and not needed with our frameless backpacks.

Vest straps also include a second sternum strap and a second set of 20" (51 cm) x 1/2" webbing w/ D rings which should be looped-on near the corners of your pack.

This thing was easy to attach and very lightweight. It will help me not lose track of IDs and cash in the bottom of my pack!

Make sure you don’t lose your most important items. Attach this stick-on key zip pouch to the inside of your backpack, and your keys, wallet, passport, smartphone or other valuables will still be where you left them at the end of your hike. When you get to town the pouch detaches and fits in your pocket.

Just peel off the brown paper backing from the included flat clips and attach the pouch inside your backpack where you want it. We usually stick it towards the top of the backpack right behind the shoulder straps so that it is easy to get to. The adhesive bonds well and will also work on any urethane coated backpack material. Spare Stick on Flat Clips are available if you want to clip this pouch to a second location.

I think this is a significant improvement on some other companies’ ‘pods’. The cinch strap creates a pod that is both super accessible when the cinch is loose, but that squares off into a nice cube when the cinch is tightened. Great, simple design.
