Pair of Shoulder Strap Pads
Our Shoulder Strap Pads add extra padding to your shoulder straps right where you need it. These shoulder strap pads should be compatible with almost any backpack straps. They are made with 3/8" closed cell foam, and a layer of soft cushioning 3D mesh on the underside.
Two Velcro bands hold it in place. Attach the bands through your shoulder strap's daisy chain so they can't move up or down.
The pads have Velcro which wraps around your backpack's shoulder straps. If your shoulder straps have a daisy chain (like our straps) you can put the Velcro through the daisy chain to keep them in position. Otherwise use a safety pin so they don't slide up or down the strap.

Dimensions: 2.5" x 6.5" (6.5 cm x 16.5 cm)
5.3 oz/sqyd 3D Spacer Mesh
This mesh has a three dimensional structure which allows airflow and adds cushioning. It has a tricot backing so you can't see clear through the holes. We use it on the underside of our backpack's shoulder straps and belts to absorb sweat, add cushion, and add grip. Our 3D mesh weighs less than most other types.

I loved the Item. I did not use it for shoulder straps instead used them for my waste band. I am a little on the heavier side and needed some padding around my belly area. They worked perfectly as a budget add on.
Excellent! The pads are easy to attach. They stay attached when hiking and they provide that extra comfort on a long hiking day!
I plan to hike the JMT this summer (still optomistic) and so I bought a Deuter Aircontact Lite 60 + 10 SL backpack because I need to carry 35 to 40 lbs shared among group. I have been carrying 20 pounds in pack for training hikes, but my right 'coracoid process' on my collar bone sticks out more then the left one, and so I was getting bruised and raw there. Then, I attached Zpacks shoulder pads to both sides (to be sure I was even), and they have pretty much solved the problem. Now I just have to test it with 35 lbs in the pack.....
Need a little longer cushion in front, like the padding but just need more material.
Made rucking doable with 30 pounds in my pack. Digging into my shoulders without them. Saved my rucking and I love them.
