Keeps your cell phone secure and handy when you need it for navigation or to take a picture. Pouch weighs next to nothing; a must for every serious hiker. I highly recommend this product.
Shoulder Pouches are the ideal place to keep your small camera or phone in reach for taking quick photos. The main compartment of the shoulder pouches are a good size for your wallet, car keys, map, headlamp, mittens, sunglasses, candy bars, pack towel, GPS, or any other items you would like to have within easy reach. The pouches carry comfortably on your shoulder, and you will hardly notice them there.
The small exterior mesh pocket can be used to store your small items like lip balm, emergency whistle, or a compass.
Choose from Ultra 200, 3.1 oz/sqyd Dyneema® Composite Fabric, or black 3.7 oz/sqyd 100D ROBIC® fabric to match your backpack.
These will fit on almost any pack. Elastic bands hold the pouch securely to your shoulder straps. It is clipped at the top with a Loop Toggle to prevent it from sliding up or down.
Bellowed design, and the elastic on the front mesh keeps the pouch snug with almost no shaking even when running or jumping.
60 cubic inch main compartment is a good size for items such as a camera. A .5L bottle is also a nice fit and can help counterbalance your pack.
The mesh front pocket is handy for tucking small items.
Draw cord opening is quick and easy for getting at your items.
The pouches are symmetrical, and can go on either side.
Stays dry in all but heavy rain. Line it with a zip lock to protect electronics.

Practical and useful
I used these to carry a 700ml bike bottle on each shoulder, plus a few energy bars. They work really well. It's good to carry some weight on the front. Due to the shoulder-strap design they mount fairly high - in practice this wasn't a problem, but I wouldn't have minded if they could have mounted an inch or two lower.
Not for generic use
The clip would work great for a z-packs pack with the narrow shoulder strap webbing but I bought it for my Waymark pack and those straps are just a little too wide to fit the tiny clip. I wish it had a more generic z-clip style attachment.
A Must for Every Serious Hiker
I have a ZPacks shoulder pouch on the pack I use most often and ordered this second one for the other pack I will be using this coming season. Keeps your cell phone secure and handy when you did it for navigation or take a picture. Pouch weighs next to nothing; a must for every serious hiker. I highly recommend this product.
Holds my headlamp and bear spray with a quick pull to tighten the large compartment. With enough room in the front netting to fit my camera lenses. I love this product as apposed to previous. zpacks is progressing with there latch system on the back. Instead of the pull string they have a hook. I find it easier to connect to the daisey chain.
