These Y-Beam stakes are the largest and strongest that we have. The 7-inch length and large diameter give them excellent holding power.

These are difficult to bend. They are strong enough to withstand being hammered or pounded with a rock, however the top end may get chewed up so we would still recommend avoiding hammering. If the ground is too firm, turn them sideways and anchor them with a rock.

These are bright blue, which makes them hard to lose.  They have a cord on the end to make it easy to pull them out of the ground.

Lightweight and gets the job done. On of my favorite sites in Maine uses platforms and now I don't need to bring my heavier free standing tent.

Why leave behind a graveyard of half-filled canisters when you can combine them all with a gadget that weighs less than a penny? Born on the PCT in 2023, the Alpenflow lets you swap, share, or consolidate fuel like a pro. Borrow from a hiker box, split with a buddy, or finally finish off that pile of canisters in your garage. You can also portion off small amounts of fuel into a small empty canister so that you aren't carrying more than you need for short trips.

FlipFuel® allows you to transfer fuel from one canister to another. Consolidate partially empty canisters into one full one for longer trips, or portion off only the fuel you need into a smaller canister for shorter trips.

An efficient stove like the Soto Windmaster only uses about 1/4 ounce (7 grams) of fuel per 2-cup boil. There is no point of carrying significantly more fuel than you need for your trip!

Weigh your canisters when you first buy them and write the full-weight on the can. Then you can calculate the weight of the canister itself and know how much fuel is remaining.

Before transferring fuel, place the receiving canister in a freezer for several minutes to shrink the contents, and place the giving canister in the sun to expand the contents.

A small curvy compass with thermometer and cardinal directions. With its small size and precise needle, this is the perfect compass to to bring along your hike.

It fits right in your pocket or clip it to your backpack's shoulder strap with the included carabiner. The convenient thermometer will keep you aware of your changing environment. Keep this compass with you at all times and stay safe!
