Zpacks x Vaucluse Ventilation Frame + Sleeve
The Zpacks x Vaucluse Ventilation Frame + Sleeve is the easy way to give your frameless pack that “ventilated backpanel” feel. Built on Vaucluse’s proven airflow frame concept, it creates a gap between you and the pack, helping to dump heat and eliminate clammy, soaked backs after long, humid climbs on trail.
Our collab version is purpose-built to fit all of our frameless backpacks and most other frameless packs. The included sleeve is designed to attach cleanly to the rear attachment points on Zpacks frameless packs using integrated cords and springless cordlocks, plus dual top snaps to keep everything locked in place.
Featuring the same 100+ lb load capability as the standard Vaucluse design, the Zpacks x Vaucluse Ventilation Frame delivers a “moves-with-you” comfort that keeps you cooler, drier, and more comfortable, the reasons why this frame has become a cult favorite on trail.
- Frame creates a .75" (1.9 cm) gap for natural ventilation, which reduces sweat and increases airflow to help keep your back cool and dry in hot and humid environments.
- One size, universal design, fits most 15L-55L+ frameless packs, including our entire Nero Series of backpacks.
- The included sleeve is designed to attach cleanly to the rear attachment points on our frameless packs using integrated cords and springless cordlocks.
- If the attachment points do not line up with your non-Zpacks backpack, zip-ties can be used with or without the sleeve to secure the frame to your pack.
- The frames sturdy, abrasion-resistant, material is flexible and conforms to your back while stilling being able to support loads of 100 pounds or more.
- Dual snaps at the top of the sleeve ensure the frame is locked into place.
- Mesh Sleeve features a thin layer for ventilation and a cushioned side for comfort, making it ideal for those heavier multi-day carries.

Nero V Top Strap
Our Nero V Top Strap adds additional stability when you’re carrying heavier items on the top of your backpack.
It can be used to carry a bear canister so long as the canister can squish into your gear as shown.
The Nero V Top Strap is modular and can be added or removed from your pack as necessary.
