Vertice Rain Kilt
The kilt packs down to nothing and very very light weight. Far better than carrying rain trousers at 5 times plus for weight. The kilt is very easy to use quickly and no need to take boots off. A great idea that keeps you dry with good quality materials and finish. Arrived quickly when ordered.
The Vertice Kilt is a unique solution to staying cool in warm weather storms, and is a great option for ultralight waist to knee rain protection. It can also be worn as a stand alone item on laundry day. The Vertice Rain Kilt works great when combined with our Vertice Rain Jacket or Groundsheet Poncho.

Our 1.50 oz/sqyd Vertice Waterproof Breathable Fabric boasts an incredible breathability rating that blows away most other rain gear.
Treated with durable, effective C6 water repellent. Made with PFAS chemicals.
The back of the kilt can be opened or closed with a waterproof separating zipper. The zipper will never blow open or leak.
This kilt has a conical shape that is wider at the bottom to allow for a longer stride. You can unzip it as necessary if the hem is not large enough for your stride.
The waist has a shock cord drawstring that can be cinched down to any smaller waist size.
When opened flat the kilt can be used as a small ground cloth for breaks or for storing gear on wet ground. The kilt has reinforced tie out loops at the four corners, and at the center of the sides for other uses.
Packs up tiny. Just roll the kilt up and secure it with the waist elastic. No stuff sack necessary.

- Rain gear should only be washed as needed, after a few trips or if you notice that the DWR is not as effective as when new.
- Machine wash with Grangers Repel Plus or similar product.

Good quality, good product, appropriately packaged, reasonable delivery time. I live in Southeast Alaska where we get LOTS of rain, and I liked it so much but I got one for a friend for Christmas!
lightweight, effective and SO Convenient!
Excellent! Purchased for a Dolomites hiking trip. Easy to put on without having to unpack/redress. Just pull out of raincoat pocket and viola!
I love this peice of gear. Worked great on a wet 5 day through hike of the Centennial Trail in South Dakota.
light, easy to dress/undress and drying fast
just perfect: extremly light and small packaging, easy to dress/undress even while walking, rain proof and drying fast. When walking uphill just leave the zip half open and turn it to back for easy movements of the legs while staying dry down to yor knees. Gaiters recommended to keep the rain from wetening your socks and shoes.
