54" Tape Strip

8 Reviews
$3.50 Weight 0.13 oz / 3.8 g

Lead Time Ships in 1 to 3 Days This tape is made with adhesive stuck to thin Dyneema Composite Fabric as the backing material. It has a brown paper layer that peels away leaving clear adhesive stuck to a DCF strip. Just peel off the paper and press it smooth. No heat required.
  • The tape is great for strengthening, sealing, or repairing sewn seams on your stuff sacks, backpacks, and tarps. It can also be cut into smaller patches for punctures or tears.

  • The adhesive will stick to many materials and is a good all-purpose repair tape for most of your gear. It will not stick to Silicone fabrics, or rough texture fabrics like the exterior most backpacks. Put it on the smooth interior of backpacks, rain gear, etc.

  • It is sold in 54" length sections. Overlap the ends of the sections for longer length seams.

54 Inches  (1.37 meters)

.75 inches (1.9 cm) or 1 inch  (2.54 cm)

*Clear-White tape is 1" wide. All other colors are .75" wide.

Weight w/o the paper:

.12 oz per yard  (3.8 grams per meter)  /  .18 oz per 54 inches

Defective Duplex

I was sent a defective tent. Communication with support was incoherent at best. I am not in process of getting the tent back to process a return. PIA/ nightmare- lesson learned

Repair tape

Kind of tough to apply on the inside of the pack at the very bottom. Maybe instead of a single layer at the bottom of the packs, double line them. Wouldn’t add too much weight to the packs at all and would increase the durability. Packs are always being set down and this is the portion that consistently is in the ground.

excellent, haven't had to use on my tent yet, but I'm ready if the need arises.

Customer Service

I recently purchased a tent and repair tape. When the order arrived I was missing some repair tape. I emailed the company and they put it in the mail immediately! Also, before purchasing the tent I had many questions, all of them were answered. Excellent Customer Service. Thanks Zpack!
