Vertice Rain Mitts
Cold, rainy hikes are no match for our Vertice Rain Mitts. Our Vertice fabric is optimized to be lightweight without compromising on durability, and it is among the lightest possible choices for waterproof-breathable rain gear.
Be sure to check out the rest of our Vertice Rain Gear.
Vertice material keeps your hands comfortable and dry rather than clammy and wet! The material can hold up to the wear and tear caused by trekking poles.
Ergonomic fit on the hand and thumb. Long enough for your jacket sleeves to comfortably overlap the wrists.
Elastic wrist bands have a clip to attach the mitts together or to hang them to dry. The elastic exits at the palm to distinguish the left and right hands.
The mitts are sized to be worn alone, or with a pair of thin liner mittens or gloves underneath for cold weather. These PossumDown gloves work great as liners under your rain mitts.
Fully taped seams.
Repair tape sticks extremely well to the inside of the material so repairs in the field are a cinch. Tape will not stick to the exterior.
All Zpacks gear has a two year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Please see our return / warranty policy.

These are great waterproof covers, and in my opinon the best buy. Yes, most of the other cottage companies sell similiar options for less$, however, they all require you to do your own seam sealing. While normally these projects aren't an issue, with small items like this, to do it right; takes considerable time, and care. Which again, I've seam sealed tons of things, but for something like this, that im buying as a waterproof layer, it's wonderful that These already come fully taped and sealed. Just worth the extra $ one less thing to worry about..Leaving no worry of possible leaks, etc. The build quality is great, and so far I have had no issues. Very lightweight too! My mediums actually come in under their specs for weight.. which to me is another plus since so often these days claimed weight is often not the actual weight. This material is quite breathable too. Overall very happy with this product.
the rain mittens are expensive IMHO, however they function incredibly well - not just the material which is, of course, critical to repelling moisture - their size is exactly the right amount of “too large” so that my fingers in wool/possum gloves can manipulate small objects without removing thenmitten shell! manipulate objects like jacket zippers, snaps, dog collars, etc. Customer service is as excellent as this product.
Haven't used them myself yet, but my husband has and loves them. They fit great over mittens which is critical for my next trek on the Hayduke.I have always been satisfied with Zpacks products and expect to love these.
Crazy light and pack down ridiculously small. Haven’t used them on a hike yet, but they are quality made. Have no doubt they will preform.
