- Made with a 96% Merino Wool Blend, the shirt is soft and smooth against the skin with no itchiness or transparency.
- Our ultralight 3.98 oz/sqyd Mirage Merino Wool fabric is very breathable, but still thick enough to provide miles of durability on or off trail.
- Quarter length zipper allows you to regulate your body's temperature.
- Comfortable hood provides protection from the sun while still allowing for air flow.
- Integrated thumb holes prevent your sleeves from riding up and help provide sun protection for the top of your hands.
- The sleeves provide excellent range of motion while eliminating a top shoulder seam that could rub against your backpack straps.
- A gentle dove tail shape on the rear of the hoody helps provide coverage when riding a bike or reaching above your head.
- Sizes are US Men's, however the athletic fit and stretchy material work well for women's figures as well.
- The material is stretchy, allowing it to comfortably conform to your body's movements.
- Wool stays warm when wet and also helps with temperature regulation in warm weather making it an ideal baselayer.
- Moisture wicking and breathable material provides superior thermoregulation in a variety of temperature ranges.

- Our wool fabric is pre-shrunk, however it will lose a small amount of length and girth if washed and dried with regular laundry. Hand wash or machine wash cold and line dry if you wish to preserve the initial sizing.

Great shirt
Am currently hiking the AT while taking a zero in gatlinburg due, it has kept me warm during snow and ice storm temps in teens with a base layer and windbreaker. Dries quickly after it gets wet through rain at by sweat. On warm days it also performs well wicking sweat highly recommended this shirt. Would buy again
Outstanding Sun Hoody!
I have purchased the green and blue hoody’s and love them. They are the best wearing merino wool garments I’ve ever owned. Very comfortable. I wear them all day and even sleep in them. Great colors and fit as well. My favorite is the blue. Most of my adventures are bikepacking. I used this hoody on my GDMBR trip through Canada and Montana. The length works great for biking. My recommended temperatures are between mid 40s to high 70s. You can layer with warmer gear to use in lower temps. I live in the southeast and due to heat and humidity I usually don't wear in the summer. Keep in mind though when riding I am usually riding in zone 2 and higher and generating a good deal of heat. I am 5ft 10in 167lbs with athletic build and the large fits me perfectly.
Perfect CO Hiking Shirt
For hiking in CO with mild temps and intense sun, this shirt is perfect for me. The thumb loops are well designed and feel unlikely to rip and the hood fits well. Quality seems good so far.
Excellent purchase
I have a large light grey sun hoody that I really like. If they add a darker colour, I’d buy another. Next time, I’ll go with an XL for a looser fit in the chest.
