Soto Windmaster Stove w/ Triflex

$69.95 USD Weight 2.3 oz / 65.0 g

When a hot meal at night and hot coffee in the morning is more of a need than a want, a reliable canister stove is mandatory. The Soto Windmaster stove is the best in class for ultralight canister style stoves. The burner is recessed allowing it to light easier and continue burning in windy conditions without requiring a separate wind screen. This stove has really great efficiency which helps you heat water faster and consume fuel slower.

This stove includes a FREE ultralight "TriFlex" stand, in addition to the heavier standard "4Flex" stand.

  • Watch the Gear Institute Overview Video.

  • The pot sits close to the flame, and the flame is protected from the wind. This results in increased efficiency and a faster boil time.

  • This stove can boil 2 cups of water in just 2.5 minutes in windy conditions. Other stoves can struggle in the wind.

  • A small 100 gram (3.5 ounce) canister can boil a two-cup pot of water 15 times. A standard 230 gram (8 ounce) canister should boil 2 cups of water about 34 times.

  • The stove has a regulator to easily adjust from a simmer to a jet engine boil.

  • Two pot stands are included. The "Triflex" stand is the one most ultralight backpackers will use. It clips on and off the burner easily, and folds flat for storage. A "4Flex" stand is also included and can be used for more stability when heating a larger 'group-meal' pot.

  • The included stuff sack weighs .3 ounces (8 grams). You can upgrade to a .1 oz (2.8 gram) Dyneema Composite Fabric Stove Stuff Sack.

  • Warranty claims are handled directly by the manufacturer.

  • Fits standard isobutane fuel canisters found at most local outdoor stores. Fuel canister not included.

Sure…it’s not the lightest option but it’s worth it

Decided switch out my BRS stove for the Soto Windmaster after seeing how much faster my wife’s stove boiled water in windy conditions. It works better and I’m happy to sacrifice a few grams in order to more easily warm up my food. And as always, Zpacks shipped it very quickly and had the product at a decent price with the lighter base.

Very efficient system

The Soto Windmaster Triflex paired with the Firemaple Petrel HX pot balances light weight, efficiency and ease of use at a very high level.

Soto Windmaster w/Triflex included

The Windmaster is the stove with the best weight/performance ratio out there that I've found after some fairly extensive research online. The Triflex provides plenty of stability for the pot and it stores very compactly. The weight of the stove with the Triflex is 67grams on my scale. ZPacks seems to be the only place you can get the Windmaster with the Triflex included for one low price (you also get the 4Flex in the same box as the stove if you ever wanted it- the Triflex comes in it's original retail packaging) You'll save money getting it from ZPacks if you know you want the Triflex (which you do if you want to keep the weight down). Look no further and just get it from here!

Best Stove, great weight, solid build, bonus Triflex

Absolutely the best stove on the market when not cold soaking, weight is almost the lightest, but the benefit of micro-regulator, extreme durability, bonus triflex, and economy wind guard outweighs (pun intended) the Overall weight as it is using less fuel, ultimately lightening your load in the end.

Great stove, good deal from Zpacks

My favorite new stove alternate to my alcohol ones. Boils fast and love the piezoelectric starter. I would highly recommend purchasing from Zpacks as you get the two different pot supports included compared with other sites.
