13 reviewsThey do what they’re supposed to do without adding hardly any weight. For any item so useful when needed this is the best option I’ve found. Thank you.

Stay dry during those grueling climbs in the rain with the Women’s Vertice Pants. Gone are the days of hot, humid, and unventilated rain gear. Our Vertice fabric is optimized to be lightweight without compromising on durability, and it is among the lightest possible choices for waterproof hyper-breathable rain gear.

Adjustable shock cord at the waist. The shock cord can be cinched down to any minimum.
Wide ankles will fit over most shoes up to US Women’s size 12.
Dual adjustment ankle snaps.
Packs up tiny as shown. Roll the pants up and secure them with the waist elastic. No stuff sack necessary.
Repair tape sticks extremely well to the inside of the material so repairs in the field are a cinch. Tape will not stick to the exterior.
Combine these pants with a matching Jacket and Mitts for a super light rain suit!
All Zpacks gear has a two year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Please see our return / warranty policy.
Made in the USA.

Measuring:
Hips: Use a string or cloth tape measure to measure around the fullest part of your hips, and compare that to our "Fits Hips" measurement.
There is no zipper. Our pants are built with the waist loose enough to come up over the specified hips and cinch tight over your normal hiking pants at the waist. The elastic waist band can cinch down to any minimum waist size.

Absolutely indispensible
I bought these for backpacking, but they've been indispensible everyday wear during the series of atmospheric rivers we've had in California. I bike to work, to shopping, and the like, and they keep me bone dry. They're super easy to take on and off over shoes. The drawstring waist is ideal. And on the weekends, they're great with a base layer underneath for longer bike trips.

As advertised - ultralight
Very grateful for this product even if very fragile. Had to patch a bit after sitting on scratchy surface.

Worlds most lightweight rain pants
Couldn’t believe how tiny these pants folded up! They give great rain protection without the weight of the usual ones. Two thumbs up!

Great pants
Packable and waterproof, used for bikepacking. Great customer service. Thank you!

Need Velcro or button on cuff
I’m a cyclist …Need Velcro burton on cuffs but other than that great !

Zpacks Ventum Wind Shell - Women's
Amazingly lightweight, easy to pack down and a must to bring EVERY time you are going to hike! It is a MUST have item while backpacking. Love that it keeps those damn mosquitoes at bay AND is breathable. Great wind layer. Why isn't this item in your shopping cart yet?
– Lori B., ★★★★★
Layering doesn’t have to be complicated. The Ventum Shell is perfect for those chilly early morning temperatures and windy alpine evenings. Specifically designed for women, this wind shell jacket is ounce for ounce the most valuable piece of clothing you can carry.
Ventum fabric strikes the right balance between cutting cold wind while still allowing enough breathability for sweat to escape when hiking on chilly mornings and evenings. Ventum fabric tests at 39.5 CFM under ASTM D-737
It cuts the breeze and traps warmth in your base layer or against your skin. This is an essential piece of gear when a base layer alone is not enough, but insulation would make you overheat.
If you don't see your size, we also have some sizes available at a discount in our Bargain Bin while supplies last.
Vertice Rain Mitts
They performed quite well on first try hiking in snow and rain mix. Hands were warm and dry while hiking with trekking poles.

Groundsheet Poncho - Flat
LOVED the poncho on my 500 mile section of the PCT this year... it's one of my top 5 favorite pieces of gear!!! I used it in a downpour at the northern terminus as I completed 7 years of section hiking the PCT.

Goose Hood
Couldn’t be happier with this down hood. Perfect for quilt users, doesn’t slide around or off your head at night like a beanie can on straight, slick hair. Much better than the hood on a sleeping bag, which can slide into your face when you turn, and of course can’t be detached for use as a separate warm hood. The ultra light weight is remarkable. It’s very warm and has a cozy fit and feel.
– Rachel M., ★★★★★
Get ready for sweet dreams on cold nights when bundled up with the Goose Hood. A perfect companion to your ultralight down quilt, stay cozy and snug tucked away from the cold. The Goose Hood can also be worn by itself when you need extra protection from the chill.
Goose Socks
I’m a cold sleeper and was looking for options to help keep my feet warm through out the night. In the past I’ve used wool socks which helped but didn’t quite keep the chill out. The first night I used the goose socks it was like heaven! They are so lightweight and add noticeable warmth! These will extend my hiking season well into the late fall, worth every penny!
– Kimberly N., ★★★★★
Nothing beats the feeling of climbing into a warm sleeping bag after a long day of hiking. Get ready to share that feeling with your feet! Win the battle against cold feet at camp with these extra warm goose socks. Crafted to keep your toes tucked away from the chill they are great for sleeping, and sitting around camp. Do not hike in these socks. Treat them as you would your sleeping bag.
Color requests are not available, the Medium sizes socks come in Green and the Large in Blue. Both sizes include a matching Ventum stuff sack!
Stick-On Key Zip Pouch
This thing was easy to attach and very lightweight. It will help me not lose track of IDs and cash in the bottom of my pack!
– Karen J., ★★★★★
Make sure you don’t lose your most important items. Attach this stick-on key zip pouch to the inside of your backpack, and your keys, wallet, passport, smartphone or other valuables will still be where you left them at the end of your hike. When you get to town the pouch detaches and fits in your pocket.
Just peel off the brown paper backing from the included flat clips and attach the pouch inside your backpack where you want it. We usually stick it towards the top of the backpack right behind the shoulder straps so that it is easy to get to. The adhesive bonds well and will also work on any urethane coated backpack material. Spare Stick on Flat Clips are available if you want to clip this pouch to a second location.
Fleece Hat
A few weeks earlier, I would have just lived with a cold head. But not now! For almost no weight and a tiny amount of space in my pack, I put up a strong defense against hypothermia. Another great product!
– Jon B., ★★★★★
Stay warm and cozy when the temperature begins to drop, whether you’re on the trail or on your way to work. Ultralight and crafted with a double layer of micro-fleece around the ears, this hat was created to keep you warm but not weigh you down.
