Measuring:

Measure your chest using a string or cloth tape measure and go by the "Fits up to" size. The "Fits up to" size includes a few inches of wiggle room for layering. The jackets are straight cut (like Men's jackets) and do not flare out at the hips.

They are fine for women, but make sure your hips will fit the bottom hem girth, or size up.  A women's specific version is also available here.

  • Rain gear should only be washed as needed, after a few trips or if you notice that the DWR is not as effective as when new.
  • Machine wash with Grangers Wash+Repel or similar product.
  • Tumble dry or line dry.

Great Rain Jacket

This is a very effective rain jacket and breathes exceptionally well. My only complaint would be that it does nothing to block wind. In its function as a a rain jacket, however, it beaded rain for five hours of continuous downpour and never wetted out. I’m a believer.

Fantastic. The Vertice Rain Jacket kept me warm and dry without any sweat and without being heavy or stiff. The jacket and the Vertice Rain Pants are now part of my basic gear. I take them on all my hikes, regardless of the forecast. Their quality is well worth the price.

Vertice rain jacket

The jacket is excellent. It is lightweight, has a long torso, and recently did NOT soak through after 4 to 5 hours of steady rain. I am probably going to get the pants soon.

Excellent jacket

Amazingly lightweight and packable while still being super water resistant.
