Almost perfect - Worth the money

The Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles from Zpacks are great! They collapse down small enough for travel, weigh nothing, and feel sturdy while using them. I have no fear putting my weight on them for support, and haven't had any problem with the clasp locks keeping the height setup that i preferred. These are almost perfect... Maybe its just a preference that I didnt know that I had, but i didn't think that the foam grips would be any different than the cork grips from the trekking poles that I replaced with these. If Zpacks would make the trekking poles available with cork grips, they would then be perfect to me. After a few long, sweaty days of hiking in the humidity of Mid-Atlantic, the texture of the foam grips became kind of slimy feeling (but not slippery. Its just an odd texture that’s hard to describe). Beside that, I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. I’m sure I will be able to use these for a long time. If you’re on the fence about these, save the money that you would spend on another set and just pull the trigger and get the Zpacks Trekking poles.

Light and sturdy! Need new baskets

Love these poles overall, I had poured over my options and for the price I'm delighted! SO light, swing and balance are great, and they are strong. I have stuck them / wedged them on the trail several times and all good. Locking mechanisms are strong and make me feel confident they won't collapse. *Only issue, has been in my first week, we were on snow and I've lost both baskets now.... I had one replacement from older poles and lost that as well... Would love replacements and that they could tighten down on the thread more securely. (I was very intentional about this originally) Thinking I might glue any replacements on! ; )

I want to express my joy

"I want to express my joy with your newest ultralight, carbon trekking poles. Since purchasing a pair earlier this year I’ve hiked over hill and dale, up and down mountains, across rivers and streams, and down more beaches than I can recall. In a few words, I would describe Zpacks’ poles as incredibly light and super strong (how do you do that magic?), infinitely adjustable, extremely comfy at the multiple grips, and way good looking. Nothing from the big brands comes close, and I’ve tried them all. I predict many years of happiness, joy and safe trekking with these perfect sticks."

"Got to use the trekking poles for the first time this weekend. NICE JOB! These things are sweet. Light as a feather, and stiff as a board. I love the additional grip down low under the handles. Adds way more versatility on steeper grades (which we have plenty of up here in the Whites). Really stoked on them."
