6.5" Titanium V Stake
21 reviewsFrom soft sand to snow, the Titanium V Stakes are a great option when you need a little more stability. These V-shaped stakes are made from ultralight and ultra strong titanium. This broad stake is designed to grip loose soil and hold better in the wind compared to thinner stakes. If the ground is too firm, turn them sideways and anchor them with a rock. Although these are pretty strong, they can be bent in half if you lean your body weight on them too hard.
In windy territory you may want a full set. For normal conditions save weight with lighter stakes, and maybe add just one or two of these for additional anchors on windy nights.
These have a red-coated end, which makes them easy to see and a red cord to make them easier to pull out of the ground.
Weight: .39 ounces (11 grams)
Length: 6.5 inches (16.5 cm)
Width: 14 mm
Material: Ultralight Titanium
Holding Power: Best
Bend Resistance: Good
Ultralight stakes should never be hammered or they could get bent or damaged. Hold your foot in both hands for stability, and guide the stake into the ground with your body weight. If the ground is too solid to drive in stakes, anchor them with rocks instead.
Non-Freestanding tents can be pitched just about anywhere with a little creativity. If the ground is too firm, wedge just the tip of your stakes in, and then anchor them with rocks. If you are camped above tree line on stone, wrap the guy lines around rocks to anchor them. On beach sand, you can use rocks, driftwood, etc. as anchors for the tent guylines. On wooden tent platforms you can wedge the stakes between the boards, or use extra line to tie off to the ends of the platform. There are many ways to make it work if you use your imagination.

My first day using them they bent in some of the softest ground you’d ever see. I can’t imagine what would happen on any harder ground.

Great! Don't bend in hard ground

Nice to try them, the blue 7” super sonic seem a little better for my use Both are great

Not impressed with these stakes. Actually very disappointed.

Great stakes for soft ground. Best holding power that I have found.

Groundsheet Poncho
Flat Groundsheet
Your tent protects you every step of the way, from harsh rainy nights to dew dropped mornings. Shield your tent floor from unnecessary wear and tear, and add longevity with a flat groundsheet.
Our tent floors are reasonably durable as-is but an extra layer doesn’t hurt for peace of mind.
This is also available as Poncho which also doubles as a pack cover.

Bathtub Groundsheet
Tyvek Groundsheet
Tyvek "Home Wrap" is an ideal material for ground sheets. It is waterproof, and very abrasion and puncture resistant. Tyvek is stiff, and foldable like thick paper. It will not bunch up or slide around under you like other fabrics.
Fold up the edges and tape the corners to make yourself a bathtub floor for your tarp. Cut it to size using regular scissors to make a tent footprint. It does not fray and you do not need to hem or tape the edges.
This material is white on one side, with a blue and red Tyvek logo printed on the other side.
Carbon Fiber Staff
Our Carbon Fiber Staff allows you to support your full weight using two hands on rough terrain, while keeping one hand free on more moderate sections. This staff is an ultralight, extremely strong alternative to Zpacks Trekking Poles. It can fold down for compact packing, or can be folded to the correct height to prop up any of our tents.
Cord & Cord Hardware
Trekking Pole Cup
Need a lift? These fabric cups make it easy to prop up the head or foot of your shelter for more space. You can use a trekking pole with the handle up (out of the mud), or a tent pole, or a stick. The cup catches your pole handle, or tent pole tip securely and without any hassle.
32" (81 cm) Tent Poles are just the right length to prop the head or foot of our tents. Or use a 48" (122 cm) pole at the head or foot of a flat tarp.
One end of the pole cup has a loop that you can attach to any tie out with a lark's head knot. The other end has a Lineloc V sewn on so that you can adjust your guy line.
