Conductive Brushtail Possum Gloves
Winter weather can be harsh, but when the digits drop yours don’t have to feel the chill. Made from a combination of New Zealand's brushtail possum fur, and New Zealand Merino lamb's wool, these Brushtail Possum gloves provide plenty of warmth when you need it most.
Featuring conductive ends on both the index finger and thumb, these gloves will allow you to use your smartphone and other touch screen devices without having to remove them.
Our Brushtail Possum gloves are produced by combining the fur of New Zealand's brushtail possum and New Zealand Merino lamb's wool.
The hair of brushtail possum is hollow, just like Polar Bear hair, which provides incredible warmth and water resistant. While typical wool gloves may stay warm when wet, they take forever to dry. If you put these gloves in water, the water shakes right out and they dry quickly.
New Zealand's possums are unrelated to the opossums found in the United States. They are super cute, but they are also an invasive species that destroy the native plant and bird life.

These gloves are stretchy, but they run a bit small. They may shrink a bit if they are dried in a dryer. It is better to size up if on the line.
This item can be hand washed with warm water and soap or in a traditional washing machine.
The gloves should be line dried. Putting the gloves in a dryer may cause them to shrink a bit, but they do stretch back out.
It’s 5 degrees today. My hands are warm.
Bought to try based on recommendation. Hiked with trekking poles for 8 miles in 16-20 degree weather. Totally blown away how, for a weight of next to nothing, in a glove form, once I got moving my hands were toasty the entire time. Not the case with other gloves of similar thickness. Still able to manipulate the phone, too. Buying the rain mitts to protect them from wear, and the hat and socks because I was so impressed.
These are warm and soft. They seem to run a little small. I should have ordered a medium, but I still plan to keep and use them.
Best dog walking glove
We use them for walling the dogs. Very warm and lightweight.
Very warm and light, but also very breathable. I use them as cool weather walking gloves, but under mittens they would be extremely warm. Mine were a bit large, but a smaller size might be too short, as I have long skinny fingers. I'll carry these while backpacking as spares in case my others get wet. Not sure that they would hold up well to using them as work gloves, but for my purposes they're great.
