What I love most about this sleeping pad is its light weight, and that it packs up very small. I had to send the first one back because of a leaky valve, but received a replacement very quickly. I love the new valve design - it’s very easy to use, and very efficient.

I was not prepared for how comfortable it is!!

I know light does not always mean a lack of something good, but I was not expecting this to be as comfortable as my 2 pound old guy blow up…Wow, I was shocked at how comfortable and light it is! Great nights sleep and no pain carrying it for 57 miles on the AT!

Leaky valve

I purchased the UberLite pad to save on weight. I was initially impressed with the small form factor and light weight design. However, I ended up disappointed when I went on an overnight trip and found that the pad was leaking throughout the night. Approximately every hour, I was awakened to find that the pad had deflated and would have to blow it back up over and over again throughout the night. In the morning, I discovered that it was the valve that had a small leak. I called zpacks when I returned from my trip and was told that I would need to contact Therm-a-Rest to follow their return policy. Hopefully that has a positive outcome. I’ve heard that this is a common problem now that I’ve been researching, so I don’t think I’ll be asking for a replacement UberLite. I might try the Xlite pad and see how that goes. I’ve been told that it’s a better pad for warmth and a little heavier - but not by much. If I do, I’ll leave a review for that one as well.
