Conductive Brushtail Possum Gloves
Winter weather can be harsh, but when the digits drop yours don’t have to feel the chill. Made from a combination of New Zealand's brushtail possum fur, and New Zealand Merino lamb's wool, these Brushtail Possum gloves provide plenty of warmth when you need it most.
Featuring conductive ends on both the index finger and thumb, these gloves will allow you to use your smartphone and other touch screen devices without having to remove them.
Our Brushtail Possum gloves are produced by combining the fur of New Zealand's brushtail possum and New Zealand Merino lamb's wool.
The hair of brushtail possum is hollow, just like Polar Bear hair, which provides incredible warmth and water resistant. While typical wool gloves may stay warm when wet, they take forever to dry. If you put these gloves in water, the water shakes right out and they dry quickly.
New Zealand's possums are unrelated to the opossums found in the United States. They are super cute, but they are also an invasive species that destroy the native plant and bird life.

These gloves are stretchy, but they run a bit small. They may shrink a bit if they are dried in a dryer. It is better to size up if on the line.
This item can be hand washed with warm water and soap or in a traditional washing machine.
The gloves should be line dried. Putting the gloves in a dryer may cause them to shrink a bit, but they do stretch back out.
So far so good. They fit perfectly and feel great. I don't hit the AT until February, and living in Florida I can't speak for their warmth. But from what I've heard they should work great.
Very warm, have not tested them in wet environments yet but I believe they will outperform many other gloves I own. My only two complains are they seem to be very frizzy on the outside. However, this might be the reason they are so warm. I also wish they had better grip. Overall great and I will be bringing them on my PCT thru hike.
Used these quite a bit on my thruhike of the pyrenees (got a small hole in one of them afterwards). They keep my fingers warm even when wet (they don‘t really soak up water anyways). They work with my iphone, which is a huge improvement over my old ones, that didn’t have this feature yet and that I finally had to replace due to too many holes (but I used those daily for my bike to work ride for a whole winter, plus a thruhike of the Kungsleden). One word of warning, there is extensive pilling with these gloves. It doesn‘t bother me, but my boyfriend who uses lenses had some issue with the short hairs getting into his eyes.
Items arrived on time and very happy with the gloves - haven't used them yet but very confident they will keep my hands warm in the cold.
These are great. They are a gift for my son.My wife and I already own a pair.
