Choosing the right layer for crisp spring mornings and chilly fall nights can be a challenge. Our Ventum Wind Shell is crafted to cut the breeze and trap warmth in your base layer or against your skin.
Ventum fabric strikes the right balance between cutting cold wind while still allowing enough breathability for sweat to escape when hiking on chilly mornings and evenings.
It’s perfect for when a base layer alone is not enough, but insulation would make you overheat. Weighing under 2 ounces this is a must-have item for when you plan to hike in cool weather.
This windshell is unisex sizing. We do also have some women's sizes in our Bargain Bin while supplies last.

Constructed from 17 gsm Ventum ripstop nylon. This fabric is tightly woven and heat calendared to cut the wind.

Goose Down Hood
Couldn’t be happier with this down hood. Perfect for quilt users, doesn’t slide around or off your head at night like a beanie can on straight, slick hair. Much better than the hood on a sleeping bag, which can slide into your face when you turn, and of course can’t be detached for use as a separate warm hood. The ultra light weight is remarkable. It’s very warm and has a cozy fit and feel.

Goose Socks
I’m a cold sleeper and was looking for options to help keep my feet warm through out the night. In the past I’ve used wool socks which helped but didn’t quite keep the chill out. The first night I used the goose socks it was like heaven! They are so lightweight and add noticeable warmth! These will extend my hiking season well into the late fall, worth every penny!
