Really glad I bought this pouch—it works with my pack’s waist belt, it’s practically weightless, and it’s the perfect size for phone, compass, map and a few snacks.

Great addition

Great pouch for addition easy to get to items. Be mindful of your belt size, you may need to size down when using this.

Very Convenient...Mostly

This is proving to be a very useful and perfectly sized addition to my Zpacks Arc Haul...but it is a bit difficult to snap the belt clips together. I wanted to use it with my pack's waist belt, but it was too difficult to cinch the pack's belt tight with the Utility Pack on it -- too many same-sized black straps too close to their respective adjusters. I've ended up using the belt that came with the Utility Pack which seems to be working fine.

Pretty good to great utility pack depending on how much you carry

I bought this to use as a backcountry fishing kit pack. I fly fish so there’s a bunch of misc small things that I use. The thing I liked about this pack is it is it has a large flat face. So you can buy zpack attachments for additional loops. Because it’s dyneema it’s also fairly weather resistant. But that’s where my two quirks also start. I’m guessing they use two zippers to allow left or right hand opening. But that also creates a small gap between them. Which means water can get in there much more easier than if it was a single zipper with a rubber stop. The thing that impacts me the most is the belt loosens pretty easily. Probably due to it’s only 1 inch wide and I’m prob carrying more than what was intended for it. But I can see it still loosening with a smartphone and snacks bouncing around. Adding one of those elastic loops would prob help reduce this.
