Tent Pole Sack

Description:
Our tent poles are made from high quality wrapped carbon fiber
tubing with internal carbon ferrules. The tubes are stiff and have a
high strength to weight ratio. We have three different thicknesses
of carbon depending on the length, and strength required for each pole.
Straight tent poles are an alternative way to pitch tents and tarps
that are designed to be set up with trekking poles. This carbon is
more rigid and it is not the right material for dome style poles.
The poles are cut to fold flush with equal length sections. They are
bound together with shock cord. The ends have vinyl end caps.
Most of our poles have a short folded length, so they can be packed
up with your tent (in a tent pole sack). Our Altaplex pole folds to
16" and can be carried in your backpack's side pocket.
If you want to use these with a tarp, or on an exterior tent pull
out, you might want a
tent pole cup to
hold it in place.
If you want to keep your poles organized and protect your tent fabric from the pole add a
Tent Pole Sack.
We do not do any carbon cutting, but you can cut these down yourself with a hack
saw or rotary saw. Just cut off the end and replace the vinyl end cap. You will
not hit the shock cord.
Tent Requirements:
A Hexamid Solo takes a single 48" (122 cm) pole.
A Hexamid Solo-Plus takes a single 52" (132 cm) pole.
A Solplex takes a 48" (122 cm) main pole and a 32" (82 cm) back
pole.
A Duplex takes two 48" (122 cm) poles or
Freestanding Flex Poles
A Triplex takes two 48" (122 cm) poles
An Altaplex takes a single 58" (147 cm) pole. This pole is
thicker and stronger for high wind.
If you wish to prop up the sides of any of our tents use 32" (82 cm) poles with
Pole Cups.
