Hammock Tarp w/ Doors
These extremely compact and ultralight tarps are designed to fit over most hammocks. Constructed from lightweight and durable .55oz sqyd/yd Dyneema® Composite Fabric, this tarp offers easy setup and provides plenty of cover most hammocks.
This tarp has almost the same dimensions as the standard hammock tarp, except with integrated doors which overlap to give 360-degree coverage.
The doors can be staked down closed or clipped open at the center of the tarp for improved airflow when not in use.

I was going to use the tarp for a basic shelter but there were too few tie downs to make this possible. You should look at the Free Soldier tarp and see what really makes their tarp really versatile. Otherwise I am very pleased with my purchase.
I have been using a triplex tent for about 9 years and was reluctant to move into hammocks because of the extra weight involved. My tarp with doors came from Z-Packs at 7.1 oz, but by the time I added a ridgeline, stake lines, shock cords, and some hardware it was up to 9.1oz. Happy Z-packs understated the weight. I also added a 1-piece snakeskin for easier deployment and packing. I have a cocoon bag and a single hammock. My entire sleeping rig is just over 3lbs. I tried it out this week-end on an overnight trip with a threat of rain/snow. It was absolutely perfect. As long as I camp in areas with trees, this is my choice for the future. This allows me to get a great night's sleep. I closed the doors and wind off a lake were mostly eliminated. I am 67 but plan to backpack as long as I can. Z-packs has scored another big winner with this ultralight durable tarp. Z-Packs is always my go-to source for high quality equipment and I have never been disappointed. I Highly recommend this product.
Great tarp for heavy storms and very simple to set it up but watch out for wind because this tarp likes to fly if you dont hold it :) but in my opinion this tarp would be even better if there would be a set with atached ropes like on the pickture because you expect one and then something else apear when arive. Also add a pick when this tarp is folded in the bag that wold be cool.
This tarp seems great so far! I wish there were a camouflage option for this tarp. I also wish someone made a "go to ground" kit for hammockers that would allow a ground pitch of this tarp with an inner bug net and bathtub floor.
Really love this tarp! The seams were all very straight and tight - no loose threads hanging. It looks as though the person who made it took great care and has good attention to detail. Weight was on point as well! Actually, it came in a few grams under spec, which I don't mind a bit! Overall, very pleased. If I had to name a con, itd be the tie-outs. There's no D-rings, only material loops. I'm sure many other UL'ers wouldn't agree on that but it's just my preference. I ordered some online though and added them myself. Problem solved.
