30/5000 where are my trekking poles?
I have a problem. On the first day of december, i made the purchase of a pair of trekking poles, you made the payment to my credit card, but the product has not arrived, not did you send me confirmation of the order, due to an error in the zip code. they are charging me for a product that I have not received
Pleasantly light - strong.
I recently used on a 6-day AT trip near Roan Mtn Tennessee in all types of terrain. They are light, strong, easy to adjust and comfortable to hold. I tested my 195 lb weight with a 27 lb pack and the locks held under more than normal pressure. As always you must be careful in large boulder fields not to force poles sideways as you move forward when they snag down inside the space between large rocks. This is where any pole can bend or snap but carbon poles will do so before solid aluminum or carbon poles with an aluminum sheath. The lever portion of the lock is not made of hard plastic but is somewhat flexible. This could be beneficial as they should not become brittle in extremely cold weather (an assumption). Very satisfied with the build and performance.
Let people know
Let people know when buying trekking poles to make sure they order 2 and not1 by mistake.. this mistake cost me $25 more than it should have which I'm still not happy about .... I will be thru hiking the Appalachian trail starting in February and I hate throwing money away when I could use it on other things that I need I mean I spent about $800 buying from zpack and I was going to get a tent but not now
Trekking pole incident
Whilst hiking the Bibbulmun track in West Australia, and on what is termed the puddle section, Pingerup Plains, which is often knee deep in long sections of puddles, one of my trekking pole handles detached leaving the rest of the pole stuck in thick mud. I did write to Zpacks support on arriving in Walpole, and then had no further email updates since I finished my hike yesterday. What a surprise to find a brand new trekking pole already delivered to my home, truly great customer support.
Shelter Add-Ons
Stake Sack
Keep your stakes organized, and protect your tent from punctures and dirt with this durable stake sack. This stake sack is constructed from extra thick 1.43 oz/sqyd Dyneema Composite Fabric to prevent punctures. Fold the top down over your stakes and use the shock cord drawstring to keep them snug like a rubber band.
Double-Hook Apparatus
Enhance an older model Zpacks tent, or a competitor’s tent by adding this double-hook apparatus to the doors. These custom made metal hooks are attached to either a Lineloc V or a Lineloc 3 adjuster depending on which size cord you wish to use. They allow you to easily unclip either tent door independently, and cinch them tight. Our current tents include these hooks.
The hooks will clip to small D-rings, or they hook nicely to loops made from 2.0 mm Z-Line Cord. Cord is not included.
Note that if your tent has doors on both sides you will need two of these, one for each pair of doors.

Groundsheet Poncho
Groundsheet Poncho
$175.00Flat Groundsheet
Your tent protects you every step of the way, from harsh rainy nights to dew dropped mornings. Shield your tent floor from unnecessary wear and tear, and add longevity with a flat groundsheet.
Our tent floors are reasonably durable as-is but an extra layer doesn’t hurt for peace of mind.
This is also available as Poncho which also doubles as a pack cover.
Use our Groundsheet Attachment Kit to connect it to our Hexamid Pocket Tarp with Doors or other tarps.

Bathtub Groundsheet
Tyvek Groundsheet
Tyvek "Home Wrap" is an ideal material for ground sheets. It is waterproof, and very abrasion and puncture resistant. Tyvek is stiff, and foldable like thick paper. It will not bunch up or slide around under you like other fabrics.
Fold up the edges and tape the corners to make yourself a bathtub floor for your tarp. Cut it to size using regular scissors to make a tent footprint. It does not fray and you do not need to hem or tape the edges.
This material is white on one side, with a blue and red Tyvek logo printed on the other side.
Mesh Tent Pocket
No more fumbling around in the dark looking for your phone, flashlight, or glasses. Keep all of your valuables safe in one location. This pocket is sewn to a strip of our seam tape at the top edge. Just peel away the paper backing and stick it in a convenient place. The tape sticks really well to Dyneema Composite Fabric, and will also stick to urethane coated floors. It will not stick to silicone fabrics.
*All new Zpacks tents already have pockets by default. These can be used to retrofit older tents. They can also be attached to our bathtub groundsheets, or tents made by other manufacturers.
Trekking Pole Cup
Need a lift? These fabric cups make it easy to prop up the head or foot of your shelter for more space. You can use a trekking pole with the handle up (out of the mud), or a tent pole, or a stick. The cup catches your pole handle, or tent pole tip securely and without any hassle.
32" (81 cm) Tent Poles are just the right length to prop the head or foot of our tents. Or use a 48" (122 cm) pole at the head or foot of a flat tarp.
One end of the pole cup has a loop that you can attach to any tie out with a lark's head knot. The other end has a Lineloc 3 sewn on so that you can adjust your guy line.
